The Executive Director, TOEFL Global Partnerships is responsible for developing partnerships for TOEFL globally. Be it white-label services to add value to the ecosystem, licensing agreements to leverage the TOEFL brand, TOFU partnerships to drive volume, or large reseller agreements, this role will carry an annual revenue generation target. The incumbent will also be responsible for developing and executing a global partnership strategy to deliver value.

Direct coordination efforts for business partnerships globally

Manage business development activities and establish partnership arrangements resulting in top-line revenue growth for the company.

Work with global market leaders to craft TOEFL’s global approach to partnerships

Accountable for all partnership revenues

Strategically identify key markets/verticals and strategic partnership opportunities to grow revenue.

Monitor and report on key trends, competitors, and market/client needs, sharing intelligence with internal teams (e.g., Product Management, Marketing, Program).

Develop and analyze metrics to evaluate the effectiveness of business development efforts.

Work closely with the program owners as well as the local entities (BV and other subsidiaries) to deliver program-specific volumes/revenues at the regional level.

Oversee contract negotiations and agreements with associations and partnerships, with support from General Counsel, Legal, Tax, and Finance, as needed.

Develop effective strategies to build brand awareness and gain access to decision-makers.

Adhere to ethical standards and comply with the laws and regulations applicable to the job function.

Experience and Skills:

Successful business development/partnership arrangements resulting in top-line revenue growth for the company.

Business development in this context is creating mutually beneficial relationships with Education Institutions, English Schools, Associations, Credentialing, Licensing bodies, and other ecosystem entities.

10+ years of experience in business development, partnership arrangements, and mutually beneficial business agreements including creating ecosystem arrangements between multiple parties.

Strong business experience

Proven leadership ability

Excellent communication skills

Experience in the formation and leadership of a newly created area/workstream
