Director of Sales

The Hotel Indigo Birmingham is located in a landmark Art Deco style building dating from the early 1930s in the city's historic Five Points South neighborhood. The hotel is situated in the booming and vibrant town of Birmingham near UAB. Hotel Indigo is set in the lively and roaring entertainment district of Birmingham, reminiscent of Bourbon street. Originally designed for medical offices and across from the first apothecary in Birmingham, the building became a hotel in the 1980s, but still retains its original medical insignia etched above the elevator doors.

The Director of Sales will be an intricate part of the management team, leading the hotel's sales efforts to new levels through teamwork, coaching, creativity, and leadership. The ideal candidate should have previous Director of Sales experience in hotel sales. The Director of Sales will be responsible for directing the overall sales efforts of the hotel. Responsibilities include:

New business development

Account management

Preparation and management of a Sales & Marketing Budget

Revenue Management

Requirements:

1 or more years of hotel DOS experience
