Position Overview
Pantheon Data has a need for a
Marine HVAC/R Engineer
to support a major surface acquisition program for the U.S. Coast Guard (USCG). The selected candidate will work as part of a dynamic cross-functional team to support the design and development of Coast Guard ships and boats.
Required Skills and Experience
Design, develop, and evaluate operation of shipboard HVAC&R systems (including heating/cooling load, duct sizing and chill water piping calculations, equipment selection);Conduct reviews of technical data packages;Conduct HVAC&R trade studies;Familiarity with ABS, USN, and industry standards relating to shipboard HVAC systems.
Experience / Certification Requirement
3 years Marine HVAC/R;DoD ACAT I or DHS Level I shipbuilding programs preferred.
Education
BS or MS in a Technical, Engineering, or Marine field
Clearance Requirements
U.S. Citizenship with the ability to obtain and maintain a Secret clearance.
Work Location
Hybrid - two (2) days a week at USCG HQ (DHS St. Elizabeth's Campus in D.C.)
Compensation
The salary range for this position is $50,000 - $80,000. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
