Overview
Responsible for all site activities related to construction project on jobsite to successfully complete the project on schedule, within budget and maintaining the highest quality standards. Oversee all trade and field personnel required to successfully complete the project. Duties may vary by client from project size and with varying degrees of responsibility and authority.COMPANY OVERVIEW:

Promote and comply with all Company and safety policies and proceduresMust be able to perform all the duties required of a Level I and II Superintendent in addition to Level III Superintendent dutiesSupervise overall direction, coordination, performance and evaluation of sub-contractors and field staffCoordinate and supervise construction activities.As needed, serve as mentor and trainer for Level I and Level II SuperintendentsCarry out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable lawsAble to negotiation Change OrdersEnsure site has proper materials ordered and scheduled inspections as necessaryMaintain construction schedule, identify and solve problemsMaintain an organized job site, including the construction officeUse and maintain schedules to measure time and production to meet requirementsKeep records in a systematic, well-organized fashionEnsure that proper documentation has been completed, hard copies and electronic copies maintained in a well-organized manner as defined in the scope of the project requirementsSeek ways to improve on productivity analysis provided by Project ManagerAbility to communicate effectively in both oral and written form to large employee groups, owners or engineersMaintain and enforce discipline throughout the jobsiteMaintain a professional appearance and positive relationships with customers, contractors, suppliers and other employeesInterview, hire, and train direct reports, plan, assign and direct work, appraise performance; reward and discipline employees, address complaints and resolve problems.Required to travel to different jobsites on a limited noticeOther duties as assignedQualifications
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management or related field10 years' work experience as a construction Superintendent In lieu of degree, 15+ years of work experience.Knowledge/Skills/AbilitiesMust have project scheduling, planning, organization and document controlSuperior communication and organization skills, especially when managing subcontractors and inspectorsOSHA Certification - In depth knowledge of OSHA safety standards and proceduresExperience with the following software: Microsoft Office Suite, Scheduling Programs and Document Control ProgramsWhat's in it for you:
