This role requires excellent academic credentials, analytical skills, and strong verbal and written communication skills.Duties and Responsibilities:Handle commercial litigation matters involving creditors' rights and remedies, including secured creditor preference and related issues.Manage and represent clients in receivership and bankruptcy proceedings.Address commercial landlord/tenant disputes and related litigation.Conduct legal research and analysis to support case strategies and client advisories.Draft and review legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and briefs.Collaborate with senior attorneys and clients to develop case strategies and provide legal advice.Participate in hearings, depositions, and trials as necessary.Maintain up-to-date knowledge of relevant laws and regulations affecting bankruptcy and creditor remedies.Assist in managing case files and documentation, ensuring compliance with court deadlines and procedures.Requirements:2-4 years of experience in commercial litigation with a focus on bankruptcy, receivership, and creditor remedies.Excellent academic credentials from an accredited law school.Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret and apply legal principles effectively.Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.Bankruptcy clerkship experience is a plus.Experience at an AmLaw 200 firm is preferred.Admission to the State Bar of California is required.Education:Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.Certifications:Admission to the State Bar of California.Skills:In-depth understanding of bankruptcy law and creditor remedies.Proficiency in commercial litigation and related legal procedures.Strong research and analytical abilities.Excellent drafting and legal writing skills.Ability to handle complex litigation and manage multiple cases simultaneously.Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
