Overview of the Position:

The President of Wencor's Parts Group will work closely with the CEO to shape the long-term strategic vision for the company while overseeing the overall financial and operational health of the Parts Business. The President translates the company's vision and strategy into action plans for this specific Business and is in charge of allocating and managing resources to ensure the Business is operating at peak performance while meeting or exceeding customer expectations and adhering to all FAA regulatory requirements. Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Lead the development of a vision and strategic plan for the Business; monitor the market for changing conditions, competitive activity & innovation opportunities.

Align systems, processes, and resources to execute the business strategy through partnership with customers and vendors.

Accountable to achieve the budgeted financial goals of the business (growth, profitability, and cash flow) through a sustainable system of management.

Responsible to grow revenue and market share by identifying and developing new business opportunities and maintaining a robust new business pipeline (organic and acquisition); add new suppliers/partners to help grow distribution business globally.

Cultivate customer relationships to understand their expectations and needs and expand Wencor's value proposition to its customers.

Lead the Parts Sales organization with competitively differentiated go-to-market strategies and creative demand-generation campaigns; develop and execute the company's Global digital & eCommerce strategy as a key growth-driver.

Manage general operational activities (product line management, supply chain, quality management, and warehouse operations) associated with distributing products and services in the aviation industry.

Enhance and/or develop, implement, and enforce policies and procedures by way of systems that will improve the overall operation and effectiveness of the organization.

Assemble and lead a high-performing, industry-recognized team; continuously seek to improve organizational effectiveness through the assessment, selection and development of high potential talent.

Provide regular insight and reporting to the CEO and Executive Leadership.

Ensure the operations are managed in compliance with government regulations as well as company policies and procedures including the maintenance of a safe and healthy work environment.

Other Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

Commercial and sales proficiencies: value-based pricing, value proposition development, product management, customer segmentation, key account management, key contract management, salesforce & pipeline management.

Ability to assess new markets & products that complement the business and customer demands; extensive knowledge of the industry & market conditions.

Courageous and creative high impact leader who thinks strategically and with strategic vision and innovation.

Exceptional critical thinking and decision-making skills; ability to effectively assess a situation, develop a plan, and gain buy-in to rally the necessary stakeholders behind the plan.

Strong operational focus with a proven track record of growth and continuous improvement in large-scale global distribution (preferably in aerospace components) to include supply chain/procurement experience.

Strong business/financial acumen and high-level analytical skills with previous global P&L responsibility and accountability to CEO and interface with Board of Directors/ Executive Committee.

Capable of working independently in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.

Track record of building and managing a high-performance, global team; able to inspire people at all levels of an organization with integrity and respect.

Influential leadership presence with excellent written and oral communication skills, able to represent the business to customers, employees, Executive leadership and to the public.

Exceptional collaboration skills both inside and outside the company with the ability to build alliances and partnerships (customers, suppliers) and to negotiate global contracts.

Deep relationships among commercial airline customers with a thorough knowledge of the aftermarket landscape and product categories.

Education / Experience Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering or a related field with a Master's/MBA degree preferred with 15+ years of experience as General Manager or executive level leader in Aerospace, Aviation, or other relevant industry. Aerospace parts distribution-related experience strongly preferred.
