Sleep Surgeon (Assistant or Associate Professor)

The Department of Otolaryngology-Head & Neck Surgery at the University of Minnesota is seeking a board certified/eligible Sleep Surgeon at the Assistant or Associate Professor Rank on an academic or clinician track (track to be determined by qualification and interest). In addition to serving as a pioneer in many areas of modern Otolaryngology, our program is a national leader in clinical care, research excellence and the education of residents, fellows and medical students.
Position Highlights:
Well-established Otolaryngology team of more than 50 physicians dedicated to the highest quality of patient care.
Team offering broad sub-specialty expertise in all areas of Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery.
Practice the full spectrum of management for sleep apnea, snoring and related disorders.
Numerous opportunities to be heavily involved in educational and research missions.
Practice settings include both tertiary and community sites in Minneapolis-Saint Paul – a large metropolitan area with over 3 million people.
Qualifications:
Graduate of an accredited ACGME Otolaryngology residency and Sleep Surgery fellowship-training program.
American Board of Otolaryngology- Head and Neck Surgery eligible/certified.
Licensed or ability to obtain medical license and DEA in the State of Minnesota, and meet criteria/qualifications for credentialing and privileges.
Ability to receive work authorization in the United States and maintain legal status according to the requirements of VISA category while in the United States.
Preferred Qualifications:
Board certification or eligibility in Otolaryngology-Sleep Medicine.
This role is dually employed by the University of Minnesota and University of Minnesota Physicians. Applicants should also complete an application for this position with the University of Minnesota.
