Job Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Chief Estimator to join our estimating team based in Novi, Michigan. As a leader in Michigan’s water and wastewater infrastructure sector, we specialize in a wide range of projects, including wastewater treatment plants, pumping stations, and water transmission facilities. The ideal candidate will play a key role in preparing detailed cost estimates and collaborating with senior management to ensure the successful completion of projects.
Duties:
- Prepare comprehensive cost estimates for water and wastewater infrastructure projects, including but not limited to structural concrete, excavation, grading, and site utilities.
- Develop work scopes and coordinate subcontractor pricing for various civil and architectural components.
- Work closely with senior management to assess project risks, determine cost-effective solutions, and meet budgetary goals.
- Utilize HCSS Heavy Bid and Primavera P6 software to enhance estimation accuracy and efficiency.
- Manage estimates for renovations and new constructions involving water and wastewater treatment facilities, storage reservoirs, retention basins, and other related infrastructure.
- Collaborate with project teams and external partners to ensure smooth project execution.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $135,797.00 - $150,444.00 per year
