The Director, Business Information Services, Digital Data Solutions is part of the Business Operations team within Incyte’s North America (NA) Business Unit. This is a unique leadership role that will provide business partnership and technical expertise in the ongoing development of internal competencies relating to digital data, business intelligence and analytical services relating to omnichannel marketing and engagement. The incumbent will focus on the applied business and technical aspects of data design and integration, data pipelining, internalization, delivery, and reporting related to Incyte’s omnichannel functions across the North America Business Unit. As a portfolio-level role, primary responsibilities include technical team management and design aspects required to deliver successful digital data solutions across the business units. This role will work closely with Digital Strategy & Operations to drive the technical aspects necessary to ensure a coordinated customer experience and provide mechanism to measure the success of omnichannel programs.Essential Functions of the Job (Key responsibilities)Responsible for the technical design and implementation of HCP and consumer (DTC) channel data integration and solutions, connecting various digital systems and platforms for a coordinated and unified customer experience within Incyte’s pharmaceutical ecosystem.Build upon and/or architect new robust data pipelines to ensure seamless flow of HCP and consumer-related data between external and internal systems, while adhering to industry standards for data privacy and security.Lead internal and external resources to deliver digital data solutions with close partnership and alignment with Incyte’s Digital Strategy & Operations team. As a subject matter expert, lead in establishing the appropriate and scalable solution architecture need to achieve the business objectives.Translate and enhance business requirements into technical specifications for individual and holistic channel integration and understanding while also ensuring operational rigor of designed solution.Collaborate with cross-functional business teams and stakeholders across the Incyte portfolio of Oncology and Dermatology as well as Business Operations, IT, and Compliance.Specific areas of responsibilities· Lead the continued expansion of Incyte’s digital data infrastructure and related analytics and predictive/ML offerings by developing and communicating holistic solution and data pipeline design across HCP and consumer channels for the NA Oncology and Dermatology business.· Liaise closely with Digital Strategy & Operations, supporting new omnichannel initiatives and establishing data operations standards, reliability, and consistency.· Drive definition of project scope, technical requirements, milestones, and deliverables in collaboration with stakeholders while providing critical input on technical internal and external resourcing.· Provide hands-on technical direction in application of integration strategy using Azure Data Factory, Databricks, Synapse, and machine learning techniques while simultaneously leading and motivating project teams to achieve project and long-term goals.· Coordinate with BIS Data Engineering to oversee and implement data engineering strategies and pipelines in support of multichannel/omnichannel initiatives across the portfolio.· As the Digital Data Solutions SME, work closely with business stakeholders to shape and translate business requirements to technical solutions, leveraging strong business acumen across the organization and strong knowledge of pharmaceutical omnichannel data.· Coordinate with BIS reporting functional teams to elucidate and streamline reporting and dashboards requirements for MCE/omnichannel standard and ad hoc reporting needs.· Drive the advancement of cloud digital data strategy through roadmap development and key partnerships with internal and external partners.· Enforce the ongoing documentation and validation of data integration points and data service offerings in support of key customers.Qualifications:· BS in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field. Advanced degree or relevant certifications preferred.· 10-12 years of overall experience in the pharmaceutical industry with omnichannel domain knowledge and experience specifically with HCP or DTC data architecture.· 5+ years of experience building production-level data pipelines culminating in direct experience directing cloud data engineering internal and external resources.· Proven experience in implementing integration solutions for complex digital ecosystems, with a focus on pharmaceutical or healthcare industries required.· Solid understanding of and demonstrated experience with pharmaceutical multichannel/omnichannel data and applied practices in support of HCP and DTC strategy, including knowledge of regulatory, compliance requirements, and commercial operations.· Proficiency in integration technologies such as APIs, ETL tools, middleware platforms, and data warehousing solutions.· Proficiency in data analysis and reporting tools such as SQL, Python, R, Tableau, Power BI, or similar.· Excellent communication skills with the ability to effectively collaborate with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.· Strong problem-solving abilities with a proactive and results-oriented mindset.· Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities effectively.· Innovative problem-solving skills – quickly identify potential solutions while considering possible impacts to other individuals and/or systems.*This role requires employee to be on-site at Incyte’s Chadds Ford, PA head-quarters four days per week minimum.Disclaimer: The above statements are intended to describe the general nature and level of work performed by employees assigned to this job.
