is an international NGO with more than 1,000 engaged employees and volunteers who work around the globe, responding to the world's most pressing global health challenges.POSITION SUMMARY:Project HOPE is seeking an experienced and highly motivated Financial Planning & Analysis Manager to lead our financial planning and analysis team. The FP&A Manager will oversee the forecasting, budgeting, and financial analysis processes, and provide strategic financial insights to support the organization's growth and profitability.PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES:Manage and oversee the annual budgeting, forecasting, and long-range financial planning processes, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.Develop and maintain complex financial models to support decision-making across various business units and projects.Analyze financial data to identify trends, variances, risks, and opportunities for improvement, providing actionable insights to senior management.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather relevant information for financial analysis and ensure alignment of financial plans with strategic objectives.Lead the monthly financial reporting process, including variance analysis and management reporting.Drive improvements in financial processes, systems, and reporting capabilities to enhance efficiency and accuracy.Prepare ad-hoc financial analyses and reports as needed to support decision-making.Assist in the evaluation of potential investments, mergers, and acquisitions to support growth initiatives.Mentor and develop finance team members, promoting a culture of continuous learning and professional growth.Other duties as assigned.MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.5-7 years of experience in financial planning and analysis, with at least 2 years in a managerial role.Strong financial modeling and analytical skills.Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial software applications such as NetSuite.Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial statement analysis.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to present complex financial information clearly and concisely.Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.Demonstrated leadership and team development skills, with a focus on fostering a collaborative and high-performing work environment.PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND WORK ENVIRONMENT:The physical demands and work environment characteristics described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. Compensation for the role is dependent on several factors including a candidate's location, qualifications, skills, and experience.
