This involves developing, operating, and managing a global content supply chain – the myriad of steps involved from taking a finalized TV show/movie, or live piece of content, from inside Disney to audiences around the globe, in their preferred language and format. This team also leads technology operations in Latin America, Europe and Asia Pacific.The Content Platforms Content Metadata Product team is looking for a Senior Product Manager II to help lead our metadata ecosystem into the future. The Content Metadata Product team vision is to “Represent Disney content in data that drives value anywhere our content is handled or monetized.”As Senior Product Manager II, you will play a key role in shaping the future of data and content flow in a global distributed supply chain. You will be responsible for building out capabilities and services that simplify and improve how content moves through the digital supply chain and empower our operations and engineering teams to lead our content effectively.Working in a cross-functional environment, you will collaborate with engineering, design, and others to reimagine the way we use technology to shape the future of our business. You will define product strategy and be responsible for building and launching products that meet the needs of the business and delight our partners.The role will be responsible for building and managing products that empower users to mark, classify, label, and index content efficiently, applying automation where possible and delivering powerful data solutions to our partner teams.Responsibilities

Use modern product discovery methods to gain a deep understanding of the problem space and develop solutions using those insightsEstablish and evangelize product strategies that align with the mission of our organization, bring value for the business, and delight usersCreate, own, and implement product vision, mission, roadmap, and KPIsHandle external business partner engagements and stakeholder relationshipsDevelop and champion cross-domain relationships built on mutual trust and respectCreate an environment that inspires passion and innovationActively collaborate with team members in engineering, design, and other domains to create products that offer long-term value for our users and our businessBe accountable for the successful delivery of product solutions and their subsequent performanceEnsure measurement is a core competency of any effortMentor and invest in the growth of other team membersSeek out learning opportunities and share valuable insights with your teammatesDevelop deep expertise and provide thought leadership in your product areaBasic Qualifications

7 years experience as a product managerExtensive experience building and launching products that meet business needs and delight customersExtensive experience collaborating optimally across multiple business areas, such as engineering, design, and marketingDemonstrated ability to offer creative, quality solutions to complex issues in the digital spaceDemonstrated ability to drive successful execution through teamwork and product evangelizationAbility to formulate and communicate a compelling vision and motivate collaboratorsDeep understanding of how to use technology to create innovative solutionsBachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience or military servicePreferred Qualifications

The hiring range for this position in California is $149,300 to $200,200 per year based on a 40 hour work week. The amount of hours scheduled per week may vary based on business needs. The base pay actually offered will take into account internal equity and also may vary depending on the candidate’s geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors.

A bonus and/or long-term incentive units may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to the full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the level and position offered.#J-18808-Ljbffr
