Clinical Director - One full-time position; Salary negotiable based on experience and skill set.

Rock Valley Community Programs is seeking an experienced Clinical Director to join our team!

JOB SUMMARY

Your role as the Clinical Director is vital and instrumental in maintaining positive relationships with all contractors, referral sources, and outside agencies. Your contribution is key to our continued success and the reputation we uphold. You will be a guardian of our reputation, ensuring we remain a trusted name in the community.

Responsibilities

Supervision of Clinical Staff:

Establish work priorities and schedules.

Ensure that all clinical staff carry out their respective positions' contractual responsibilities and duties while complying with contractual and state standards.

Directly supervise clinical staff's day-to-day job performance, including feedback, follow-up, discipline, performance evaluations, and documentation.

Coordinate and facilitate weekly individual sessions and team meetings to foster a supportive and productive work environment.

Ensure AODA Staff remain appropriately credentialed.

Supervision of Administration Staff:

Establish work priorities and schedules.

Ensure that all administrative staff carry out their respective positions' contractual responsibilities and duties.

Directly supervise administrative staff's day-to-day job performance, including feedback, follow-up, discipline, performance evaluations, and documentation.

Act as a resource for staff development, guidance, training, and support.

Multi-disciplinary Team Component:

Participate in client acceptance/denial to programming and determine primary counselor assignment.

Assess, evaluate, and review client's needs monthly, using a systems approach.

Monitor and evaluate the appropriateness of treatment plans, contracts, and outside referrals.

Coordinate and participate in monthly staffing with Medical Doctors.

Act as liaison to Medical Doctor.

Interagency Liaison/Coordinator:

Maintain good working relationships with contractual and referral agencies.

Ensure service contracts are developed with agencies providing support services to clients.

Work with community support agencies to provide supplemental support services to clients as needed.

Organizational Management:

Provide guidance and assistance to organizational leadership in developing, implementing, delivering, and modifying clinical and non-clinical programs.

Bring issues/problems to the organizational leadership with recommendations for discussion and critique.

Ensure the integration of contract requirements and all applicable standards to program design and delivery.

Coordinate intake services and program assistance needs with clinical team needs.

Maintain all program licensing with the State of Wisconsin and contractor requirements as stated by licensing.

Ensure that all administrative reports, monthly billings, staff time sheets, check authorizations, quarterly and year-end reports, accident reports, etc., are turned into the appropriate departments on time.

Perform supplementary duties, at the discretion of the Executive Director, to assure maximum efficiency in program and organizational operations.

Maintain a favorable working relationship with all other agency employees to foster and promote a cooperative and harmonious working climate conducive to maximum employee morale, productivity, and efficiency/effectiveness.

Qualifications

Strong background or training in Wisconsin Department of Health and Family Services statutes requirements under HFS-75.

Master’s degree in Human Services.

Certification in one of the following:

Clinical Substance Abuse Counselor (CSAC)

Intermediate Clinical Supervisor or Professional Counselor

Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW)

American Association for Marriage and Family Therapy Supervisor

One year of clinical supervisory experience as a supervisor in training or intermediate clinical supervisor within five years as the supervisor of counselors.

Successful completion of 30 hours of clinical supervision, including a minimum of 6 hours of training in assessment and evaluation, counselor development, management and administration, and professional responsibility.

Supervisory experience to include report writing.

Knowledge of medical and clinical terminology and philosophies relating to substance abuse treatment.

Knowledge of the criminal justice system.

Knowledge of community resources available for clients and families affected by AODA/criminal justice problems.

Ability to maintain the client documentation system.

Skill in evaluating client's needs, formulating treatment plans, and working within a Multi-disciplinary Team approach.

Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing.
