The

Sr Marketing & Communications Director

is accountable for the development and implementation of the enterprise marketing and communication strategies that align with the company's strategic vision. Build a highly efficient team of marketing and communications professionals at the enterprise and local levels.Develop a one-company, integrated global communications strategy to align with GBC vision and strategic pillars, and lead its implementation.Responsible for all aspects of Gilbane's strategic marketing communications including brand strategy and positioning, innovative campaign development, distribution channel design, alliance marketing, and partnerships with teams across the company.Leverage technology to provide innovative and secure delivery options for communications that differentiate Gilbane Building Company in the marketplace.Develop global connectivity campaigns themed around GBC strategic pillars. Distribute templates across channels such as mobile platforms, video, and social media (digital, press etc.) for a localized approach.Protect Gilbane Building Company's brand with reputation management and consistent crisis communications response strategies.Work to differentiate and communicate brand awareness between Gilbane, Inc.; Gilbane Development Company; and Gilbane Building Company.Deliver an internal and external communications platform that serves the enterprise as well as local geographical offices, market sectors, and vertical businesses.Enhance and maintain Gilbane's brand as a "People First" organization that is committed to delivering the best outcomes to its clients.Travel up to 30%.Qualifications

EXPERIENCE/EDUCATIONBachelor's Degree.15+ years relevant experience in corporate communications, crisis communications, internal and external brand development, external relations, and media relations.Experience in the Built Environment a plus.Or equivalent combination of education and experience.KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIESHighly collaborative style with leadership experience developing and implementing communications strategies.Excellent writing/editing and verbal communication skills.Ability to think creatively and collaboratively about all elements of communications work.Strong track record as an implementer who thrives on managing a variety of key initiatives concurrently.Relationship builder with flexibility and finesse.Critical thinking and problem-solving skills.Excellent communication and public speaking skills.Strong interpersonal, management and leadership skills with the ability to integrate and work well across departments, teams, divisions, geographies, and business units.Salary to be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data.Gilbane offers an excellent total compensation package which includes competitive health and welfare benefits and a generous profit-sharing/401k plan.
