As an Advance Practice Nurse/Family Nurse Practitioner with National University, you'll be a crucial part of a unique healthcare initiative, delivering comprehensive care to under-resourced communities.

Who You Are:

Graduate of an accredited school of nursing with an earned Master of Science in nursing degree.

Graduate of an accredited Nurse Practitioner Program.

Current Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) Certification and Licensure as a Registered Nurse.

Current California Furnishing number, NPI, and current DEA registration number.

Hold and maintain current national and state board certification as a nurse practitioner from an approved organization.

Current certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) required. Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), and PALS certifications are preferred.

Recent experience (within the last 5 years) in an advanced practice nurse, specifically a Family Nurse Practitioner, role.

Independent performance of age-appropriate examinations and diagnostic tests.

Development of cost-effective care strategies for acute and chronic illnesses.

Involvement in health promotion, disease management, and community-based referrals.

Your Role:

Serve as the primary care provider in diverse clinic settings.

Lead in telehealth initiatives and student clinical supervision.

Provide comprehensive care, including physical examinations, disease management, health education, and various screenings.

Location:

Onsite at designated clinic site locations in Los Angeles.

Travel:

Up to 75% travel to ensure clinical practice consistency across all clinic locations in Los Angeles.

Compensation Range:

Hourly: $57.69 - $67.30

Candidate receiving offers will be offered a salary/pay rate commensurate with experience that vary based on a candidate’s qualifications, skills, and competencies. Absent exceptional circumstances, candidates will be offered a salary within this range for this position. The minimum salary will be offered based on the minimum exemption threshold based on state of residency.
