Santa Monica Studio is seeking a talented Games User Researcher for the development of a new unannounced title!As a Games User Researcher, you will be an accelerator to the feedback loop between players and game developers. You’ll also assist our efforts to affect and delight players and our fan base.Responsibilities

Keep up to date with current and future project updatesReview design documentation and playable contentAttend regular design, user research, and QA meetingsCollaborate with Design to define relevant research goalsPrepare and execute internal user testing and playtestsCoordinate participant recruitment and test setupPrepare and validate data collection methodsModerate focused 1:1 user tests and group playtestsSynthesize qualitative and quantitative data sets into meaningful insightsCode and distill qualitative feedback into useful data pointsStrategically leverage game telemetry and gameplay video recordingsCreate written and visual data reportsRequirements

2+ years of experience in games user researchDegree in Psychology, Cognitive Science, HCI, or Game DesignStrong interest and passion for video gamesPreferred Experience

Experience working on story driven action-adventure games
