Infosys is seeking a SQL Server Developer on Azure Data platforms. In this role, y ou will enable digital transformation for our clients in a global delivery model, research on technologies independently, recommend appropriate solutions and contribute to technology-specific best practices and standards. Y ou will be responsible to interface with key stakeholders and apply your technical proficiency across different stages of the Software Development Life Cycle. This position may require travel in the USBachelor's degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education.At least 4 years of Information Technology experienceAt least 3 years of MS SQL Server Developer experienceSignificant experience in developing database componentsStrong experience in database development using MS SQL Server, SSRS, SSIS, SSAS, T-SQLUnderstanding of azure data analytics technologies including Azure Data Factory, Azure Data Lake, Azure Databricks, Microsoft Purview and Power BI, Azure Cognitive ServicesExperience in Cloud logging and monitoring toolsStrong knowledge of Microsoft Azure Cloud, certification preferredStrong knowledge and hands-on experience in SQL, scripting language, i.e. Bash, Python.U.S. citizens and those authorized to work in the U.S. are encouraged to apply. Experience in Financial services industrySound knowledge of software engineering design patterns and practicesExperience in enterprise-scale environments, building highly available IaaS and PaaS solutionsExperience in Linux/Unix system administrationGood understanding of Agile software development frameworksStrong communication and Analytical and problem solving skillsAbility to work in teams in a diverse, multi-stakeholder environment comprising of Business and Technology teamsExperience and desire to work in a global delivery environmentThe job entails sitting as well as working at a computer for extended periods of time. Should be able to communicate by telephone, email or face to face. Travel may be required as per the job requirements.
