Kreg Tool is seeking an Industrial Engineering Intern for Summer 2025. The internship will take place over the summer months and last approximately 12 weeks from May to August, with flexible start and end dates. You will be paid a competitive hourly rate for the internship. In addition, many interns may receive academic credit for their work through their college or university.

What You’ll Do:

The Industrial Engineering Intern will work closely with our engineering team in many areas of our manufacturing facilities. This role will be assigned a variety of projects that will include analyzing and improving efficiency of manufacturing operations and changes related to personnel, material, machines, and facilities. This role involves leadership ability, critical thinking, and communication skills.

Help design/improve assembly line layouts and flowUpdate Facility layout as changes occur.Help design/improve assembly line layouts and flowUpdate Facility layout as changes occur.Provide detailed data collection and analysis (time studies, material flow, waste analysis)May work on set-up reductions, Kaizen events or other Continuous Improvement activities.Apply statistical methods and root cause analysis techniques to improve manufacturing processes and develop production standards.Participate or lead teams to cost justify, design, and implement new equipment.Lead projects (either assigned or identified) to eliminate waste and increase value of our processesSome Design work may be required to complete projectsParticipate in multiple projects at one time.Other duties as assigned.What We’re Looking For:

Completed Sophomore level Engineering curriculum in Industrial or Mechanical EngineeringAutoCad and Solidworks experience is preferredCompletion of Time Studies class preferred.Understanding of statistical process control techniques.Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Powerpoint.Other Skills and Abilities We’re Looking For:
