JOB SUMMARYThe Marketing Associate will contribute to the development, implementation, tracking, and optimization of Charter’s marketing efforts. The Associate will assist with executing Marketing project strategy for Residential and Small & Medium Business customers and may be responsible for TV, Internet, Voice & Mobile related initiatives. This role requires frequent interaction with cross-functional departments and peers, including collaboration with other Marketing teams, Sales, Billing, Product Development, Government Relations, Legal, and Customer Service/Operations, as well as external vendors.

MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESActively and consistently support all efforts to simplify and enhance the customer experience, grow the Spectrum brand, sales channels, and support functions as needed.Assist with executing assigned projects spanning across multiple organizations and company priorities; ensuring accuracy and utilizing best practices and standard procedures.Responsible for initiatives related to driving customer acquisition and/or customer retention, including product management, program development, and process implementation.Work with internal teams and external vendors to successfully execute various marketing tactics (e.g. email, direct mail, SMS, print, media, automated calls, SEO, digital media, etc.).Review creative to develop effective creative briefs and review creative deliverables to ensure that they are delivering on messaging objectives and brand strategy.Work with manager and peers on internal communications, to include development and management of marketing calendars, project updates and summaries, reporting, presentations, etc.Coordinate and communicate with other departments regarding the planning, creation, and implementation of marketing campaigns and related materials and promotions.Gather and analyze data; report on customer numbers, churn analysis, marketing promotion results, and effects on sales growth.Update sales and product collateral, including management of portals, working with product management, sales ops, and offer teams.Assist with project expenses including purchase orders, invoices, and budget.Perform other duties as requested by manager.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONSRequired Skills/Abilities and KnowledgeAbility to read, write, speak and understand English.Creative problem-solving and strong analytical reasoning skills.High level of motivation and self-direction.Ability to work independently within established timeframes.Ability to work effectively as part of a team and across corporate functions.Strong time management skills that enable on-time project delivery.Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and rapidly changing environment.Ability to prioritize and organize effectively.Ability to use personal computer and software applications (i.e. word processing, spreadsheet, etc.).Required EducationBachelor's degree in marketing or related field; Business and/or marketing relevant internship or equivalent work experience or education.Required Related Work Experience and Number of YearsBachelor’s degree in Marketing, Advertising, Business, Communications or related field - 1 year.PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONSPreferred Skills/Abilities and KnowledgeBilingual Spanish Preferred.WORKING CONDITIONSOffice environment.
