Description:

Responsible for the performance of several small to medium sized technical projects, several moderate sized projects, or a definable portion of a larger project or program in accordance with contract requirements and company policies, procedures and guidelines.Directs and supervises support resources for the performance of project assignments and activities.Manages the technical direction of a project through the design, implementation and testing in accordance with project objectives.Required to use PPM tools to review project work plans, issues, risks, and dependencies.Will produce status reports, conduct status meetings, and facilitate issue resolution and risk management sessions.Developing presentations and identifying process improvement opportunities.PMO activities include reporting, performing Health Checks/Gate reviews, interfacing with multiple delivery portfolios and non-functional groups, and working with the rest of the PMO team to ensure all projects are on track.Qualifications:

Enrollment dates are each January 1st, April 1st, July 1st, and October 1st.

Technical Certification Bonus: Synectics is pleased to award its employees a bonus of up to $500 for an approved professional certification. In determining the bonus amount, Synectics will consider the cost of the test(s) for any certification relating to your current position, achieved during your employment with us. Only one Certification Bonus per calendar year may be awarded per employee. Only current, active employees will be eligible to receive this bonus. It will be awarded 90 days after the Synectics office has received documentation confirming the successful completion of the certification.
