Job Responsibilities:

Provide assistance and direction to the quality laboratory technician staff.Assist the Quality Engineers and manager in all functions and requirements of the quality laboratory.Examine contents and compare with records, such as manifests, invoices or orders in order to verify the accuracy of incoming and outgoing shipments.Discard or reject products, materials, and equipment meeting specifications.Analyze and interpret blueprints, data, manuals, and other materials to determine specifications, inspection and testing procedures, adjustment and certification methods, formulas, and measuring instruments required.Inspect, test, or measure materials, products, and work for conformance to specifications.Notify supervisors and other personnel of production problems, and assist in identifying and correcting these problems.Discuss inspection results with operators and recommend necessary corrective action.Record inspection or test data and quantities inspected or graded.Observe and monitor production operations and equipment to ensure conformance to specifications and make or order necessary process or assembly adjustments.Measure dimensions of products to verify conformance to specifications, using measuring instruments such as rulers, calipers, gauges, or micrometers.Analyze test data and make computations as necessary to determine test results.Support the training for Quality techs by explaining the proper procedures to be conducted on the floor and the lab.Support the projects undertaken by the organization, where he/she can add value.Keep updated the reports, SPC, documents under his/her responsibility.Participate in the department meetings.Assist in training coordinated by HR where participation is needed.Report any work-related incident.Experience Required:

Minimum of three years previous manufacturing experience, preferably in quality assurance role.Strong written and oral communication skills.Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.Must maintain an attitude of safety awareness and responsibility.ASQ Quality Certifications, HACCP, Six Sigma, LEAN preferred.Qualifications Education:
