Position : Insurance Customer Service Representative

Location : On-site

As an Insurance Customer Service Representative (Personal Lines) you will assist the team in exceeding their client's expectations by maintaining solid customer relationships. You will be responsible for handling personal insurance coverage inquiries and concerns with speed and professionalism through daily interaction with customers, insurance carriers, and fellow employees while conducting specific service and marketing activities.

Responsibilities:Perform all account transactions including applications, quotations, ID Cards, endorsements,binders, claims, renewals, follow-ups, and correspondence.Respond to client inquiries, incoming mail, and company requestConduct annual coverage surveys and recommend additional coverages and/or increases in limitsReview new business, renewals, and endorsements as needed to insured items received as orderedObtain expiration dates for additional policies and follow through to make sales of companion lineson all mono-line accountsKeep informed of new sales programsSell new personal lines accounts within the agency management system and use AMS for alltransactionsParticipate in educational seminars/classes for continuous improvement of insurance knowledgeMaintain knowledge of current underwriting requirements of contracted insurance carriersPerform special projects at management's requestQualifications:

Minimum of 3 years experience using property casualty personal lines product knowledge includingcoverages, underwriting, and ratingWillingness to learn and grow with the agencyPeople-oriented and customer-focusedUnderstanding of insurance policies and proceduresExcellent oral and written communication skillsTechnical and client relations expertiseExceptional organizational and time management skillsAbility to work independently and collaborativelyCollege degree, CISR, ACSR, CIC, or CPCU preferredPossession of relevant insurance certifications or licenses required
