Job Responsibilities:
Perform electric work on CNC machines in the automobile manufacturing environmentWork with Fanuc and Siemens controllers on CNC machinesTroubleshoot 24v DC, 120v, 277v, and 480v circuits.Troubleshoot proximity switches, light screens and safety circuits, cables, ethernet and communication issues, motors, drives, relays, etc.Job Qualifications:
Journeyman's card or 7+ years electrician of direct experienceExperience in a manufacturing setting (automotive preferred; not facilities maintenance)Experience with CNCs/PLCs/frequency drives/motors and associated circuity (Allen Bradley CNC preferred)Experience industrial maintenance, electrical maintenance, high voltage (medium voltage), 480V, 120V, down to 24-volt DC circuitryPLC experience (Allen Bradley preferred)Familiar with going through the parameters of Program Frequency Drives (controls engineers help with this but familiarity is important)Ability to lift 75 lbs.
