Insight Global is seeking a Java Developer to join one of our largest financial service clients and sit local to Richardson Texas. This candidate will be joining the engineering team within Platform Solutions to help build the technology that thousands of their clients use. To be successful in this role, this candidate must have excellent backend java development and should have hands on experience working with Spring, Kafka, and micro services. This candidate must be sharp, independent, and enthusiastic to participate. The team is onsite, so the expectation is for this candidate to be in office 5x a week.

- Recent experience working in the financial services sector
- Experience with AWS
- Masters in Computer Science- 6-12 years of java backend experience
- Expertise with core java 8+, Spring, Spring Boot, Spring MVC, Spring security, Spring data, and spring integration
- Experience with micro service based architecture
- Experience with No-SQL D8, preferably MongoDB
- Experience with messaging frameworks, preferably Kafka
- Unit and integration testing frameworks: Junit, Mockito, Serenity, or Jbehave
- Good communication skills
