Lockheed Martin is looking for world-class team members to join our Military Operations Analysis, Warfighter Team. In this role, your responsibilities include analysis of current and future LM Aeronautics combat platforms as an Operational Concepts Subject Matter Expert (SME), leading Concept of Operations (CONOPs) and Virtual Simulation efforts supporting Aero Fighter Programs and Improvements and Derivatives (I&D) customers. These programs include F-16, F-35, and F-22 as well as Advanced Development Programs I&D activities.

You will work with a team of former military operators and skilled problem solvers supporting utility assessments, air combat performance, and evaluating operational improvement of technology enhancements. Your responsibilities will include flying as tactical SME, providing instructions to pilots, and validating operational capability in the F-35 Manned Tactical Simulation, Virtual Warfare Center, Multi-Domain Analysis Center, and other Human-In-The-Loop effects based / OFP simulation environments. Your efforts also include piloting aircraft simulator or acting as an instructor for training customer pilots and aircrew during syllabus training simulator flights; and conducting classroom training of customer pilots and aircrew. You may conduct demonstration simulator flights with customers, government officials, or other personnel to exhibit aircraft performance, flying qualities, and system capabilities.

You shall be considered by your peers as a subject matter authority in Air Superiority/Air Dominance fighter tactics and employment doctrine over a range of military operations. You shall have a working understanding of current and planned technologies for USAF or USN aviation systems, to include communication networks, command and control systems, weapons, and sensors.

You must meet the minimum related experience with an extensive operational military aviation background in multi-role fighter aircraft in joint and coalition operations; possess the ability to comfortably interface with civilian government, DoD, and industry stakeholders; and a thorough understanding of basic systems engineering processes and principles.

You will be a member of a high-performing, multi-site team and must be self-motivated with an excellent work ethic, time-management, and interpersonal skills. The ability to work in an adaptable, multi-disciplinary team environment is critical. You must demonstrate effective communication skills, critical interpersonal skills, and effective ability to motivate. The ability to travel is desired.

Must be a US Citizen. This position is located at a facility that requires special access. Must have an Active Secret clearance with the eligibility for Top Secret, and access to higher-level clearances.

Basic Qualifications:- Subject matter expert in fighter combat military aviation (F-15C/E, F-16, F/A-18, F-22 or F-35)- Fighter instructor pilot or Instructor WSO background- Experience with basic systems engineering processes and principles- Experience in airborne networking and operational-level command and control concepts- Bachelor's or higher-level degree from an accredited college in a related discipline- Final Secret clearance required for consideration

Desired Skills:- Extensive operational military aviation background in Air Superiority fighter aircraft in joint and coalition operations, Instructor or Package Commander- Higher level Military education and training, (e.g. Intermediate Development Education (IDE)/ Intermediate Level School (ILS) graduate; advanced IDE/ILS graduate preferred (SAMS, SAASS, SAW, MAWS)- Fighter weapons school graduate with recent combat experience (USAFWS, MAWTS, NFWS)- Futuristic visionary thinking is highly desired- Experience working in a Virtual Simulation environment- Strong oral and written communication skills with demonstrated ability to interface with senior civilian government, DoD, and industry leaders.- Demonstrated ability as an independent, proactive leader who works well within a team.- Ability to communicate and coordinate effectively with team members, internal and external customers, and senior leadership.

- Individual must qualify to obtain a Top Secret and SCI clearance.Security Clearance Statement:

Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five-day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.Schedule for this Position:
