Shipping and Receiving Technician

supporting our HATC site located in

The Woodlands, Texas .Job ScopeResponsible for the shipping, receiving, and warehouse activities at HATC.In summary, as the Shipping and Receiving Technician, you will:Load

and

unload

all delivery vehicles safely and in a timely manner, including notifying HATC associates when their order arrives.Compare

packing slips with actual material received, perform Goods Receipts, and address any discrepencies in Goods receipts and invoices with purchasing and other Huntsman departments.Stock

and

maintain

the HATC warehouse and sample shipping office safely and efficiently, ordering and shelving inventory to meet site needs, appropriately storing any hazardous materials.Serve

as the Huntsman representative to key vendors that self-manage inventories at HATC including setting appropriate stock levels and managing payment through Huntsman's P-Card and purchasing systems.Access

and use various computer systems associated with order placement and shipping, included but not limited to SAP, Ariba, Granger Keep-Stock, VRW Workflow and SEI's shipping systems.Coordinate

regular safety inspections of the Warehouse, Chemical Storage, Sample shipping Areas, and Building 3 Dock area as assigned.Package ,

label

and

ship

requested samples and other items from HATC ensuring adherence to all regulatory (DOT/IATA) and Huntsman vendor (FedEX/SEI) guidelines.Work

with SEI to ensure all proper sample request paperwork and shipping orders are submitted by HATC personnel and received by SEI prior to sample packing and shipping.Serve

as a subject matter expert and trainer for the HATC shipping and receiving processes.Identify ,

investigate

and

correct

discrepancies in shipping, ordering and stocking.Other general responsibilities:Follow

instructions and performs other duties as may assigned by their supervisor.Assist

other employees in accomplishment of Huntsman company goals.Participate

in and complete company-required training programs.Participate

in Environmental, Health, & Safety initiatives as set forth by the company.QualificationsYou must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates.

The candidate must have an unrestricted right to work for Huntsman in the United

StatesMinimum QualificationsHigh school diploma or equivalent5+ years of experience in shipping, receiving and/or warehouse/inventory management.Specific Skills and KnowledgeMust

have a high level of proficiency with Internet, Email, and Microsoft programs.Must

have proficient verbal and written communication skills.Must

maintain an in-depth knowledge of material management and sample shipping protocols to support the research and development activity at HATC, including preparation of shipping documents as needed.Must

be able to communicate clearly and effectively with other HATC personnel regarding to sample/material shipping and warehouse-stocked items availability.Must

be able to lift 50 pounds.Must

be able to operate a fork-liftExperience

with warehouse management software preferred.Previous experience with SAP order placement, goods receipt and inventory management highly

preferred .

Certificates, Licenses, RegistrationsIATA and DOT certifications highly
