Summary Simplot has an opportunity available to join our IT Security Engineering team as an IT Security Engineer. This team is a pillar of the Simplot Technology and Data Science organization and works closely with IT engineering teams to implement solutions in support of Simplot security initiatives across our global enterprise application portfolio and factory IT/OT systems. This position offers a hybrid, collaborative environment with flexible office/remote workplace options. Could be a level II or III dependent on experience. Key Responsibilities + Create and maintain system configurations in compliance with IT architectural guidelines and Information Security policies. + Design, implement, analyze, optimize, and troubleshoot network and security solutions. + Create and maintain system documentation for new and existing solutions. + Understand firewall, load balancer and web proxy system configurations. + Define and/or implement security policy with awareness and understanding of foundational data security concepts. + Work with managed service providers to maintain security configurations and resolve issues. + Work in a team environment, collaborating with other IT departments, business units or vendors/contractors around the globe to implement and maintain security solutions. + Ensure solutions align with Simplot's Information Security objectives. Typical Education Bachelor's Degree (B.A. or B.S.) from 4 year college or university Relevant Experience 3-10 years related experience and/or training Required Certifications Other Information + 3-10 years related experience and/or training + In-depth understanding or experience in one or more of the following areas: + Current and emerging security principles and methods. + Cyber-risks, technologies, and associated security controls to assess and ultimately protect cloud environments like Azure, GCP and/or AWS. + Concepts, techniques and challenges associated with vulnerability management. + ITIL, CMDB, capacity, service and change manageme To view full details and how to apply, please login or create a Job Seeker account
