Software Specialist at Zurich NA in Boise, Idaho, United States Job Description Software Specialist 115181 Zurich North America is hiring an Software Specialist to join our team We are open to hiring talent any where within U.S. remotely. Position Summary: This role conducts software-related training sessions to improve individual, agency, and organizational performance, while also provide an effective level of customer support involved software usage issues and needs. Confer with customers by phone, email or in person to provide information about software functionality and features and when issues are identified, provide the proper resolution to the customer. Responsibilities: + Utilizes business, technology, organizational change, and collaborative skills to work with cross-functional resources to develop and deploy implementation strategies and deliverables. + Keep records of customer interactions or transactions, recording details of inquiries and usage issues, as well as actions taken. + Applies knowledge of the business objectives, processes, products, and services in order to develop recommendations for new programs and/or initiatives to solve business challenges. + Builds strong relationships across the business. + Act as a liaison between customers and product teams for all implementation activities. + Assists with, and may deliver, change management planning and execution (e.g., training, communications) to support the implementation of solutions and initiatives that support strategic and operational priorities. + Develop user test cases and participate in UAT for technology solutions. + Assists in the development, and implementation of technical training plans and programs. + Delivers technical training the business. + Serves as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) for technical training content and product meetings. + Identifies opportunities for improvement and coordinates action plans with manager. This position will require Travel: 40 -50%. Basic Qualifications: + Bachelors Degree and 4 or more years of experience in the Insurance or Operations areaOR + High School Diploma or Equivalent and 6 or more years of experience in the Insurance or Operations areaOR + Zurich Certified Insurance Apprentice including Associate Degree and 4 or more years of experience in the Insurance or Operations areaAND + Project management experience Preferred Qualifications: + Ability to communicate with all levels of the organization from entry level to senior leaders + Ability to develop collaborative relationships + Change management, process management, and negotiation skills + Strong verbal and written communication skills + Data analysis, analytical, and problem-solving skills + Experience with the training life cycle from needs assessment through evaluation + Experience with Go To Webinar, Microsoft suite and similar course development tools + Ability to troubleshoot complex software issues to provide accurate support to all customers. Compensation for roles at Zurich varies depending on a wide array of factors including but not limited to the specific office location, role, skill set, and level of experience. The starting salary range for this position is $63,300.00 - $103,700.00.
