SUMMARY OF POSITION
Kinsley is currently seeking multiple personnel for our growing Civil site pipe crews based in North East, MD. Positions include General Laborers, Pipelayers, Pipe Foreman, and Equipment Operators. Successful candidates should possess a willingness to learn, have a good work ethic and a positive attitude.

GENERAL LABORER
Assist in backfilling and running compaction equipmentClean and prepare construction sites by removing debris and possible hazardsUse various hand and power toolsAssist with removal of fine grade stones along curb lines and sidewalksTake and understand instructions from crew leadersPerforms other related duties and responsibilities as requiredEQUIPMENT OPERATOR
Operates equipment in compliance with Kinsley's safety policies and proceduresEnsures company equipment is maintained and in good running condition by greasing and checking fluidsDemonstrates a working knowledge of all aspects of constructionPerforms other related duties and responsibilities as requiredPIPELAYER
Installation of new pipes in trench for storm or sanitation sewers, drains, and water mainsAlign pipes in pipeline sectionsEnsure subgrade and pipe are on grade and in lineAssist in backfilling and running compaction equipmentJob site hazard recognitionPerforms other related duties and responsibilities as requiredPIPE FOREMAN
Effectively lead, manage, and motivate crews of 5 to 10 individualsSupervise the installation of new pipes in trench for storm or sanitation sewers, drains, and water mainsSuccessfully manage and schedule subcontractorsInterpret blueprints, project plans, and specificationsPlan and schedule for necessary manpower, tools, materials, and equipment needed to complete the jobResponsible for completing daily timesheets and maintaining daily logsREQUIREMENTS
Minimum of 5 years of field leadership experience is required for foremen positionMust possess knowledge of GPS systemsAbility to follow and enforce all correct safety proceduresApplicants should possess knowledge of underground utility installation, excavation regulations, and pipeline safetyMinimum of 3 years' experience is required for the equipment operator positionAbility to work in a crew-based and fast-paced environmentPunctuality and dependability are requiredPerform a variety of manual tasks for extended periods and sometimes in unfavorable weather conditionsPerform physical activities that require considerable use of arms, legs and moving whole body such as climbing, lifting, balancing, walking, and handling of materialsAbility to work both independently and as a team playerAbility to pass DOT pre-employment physical and drug/alcohol screeningValid driver's license and reliable transportation required
