Duties

Serves and manage the State, Local, Tribal and Private Sector Program(SLTPS)and provide management and oversight of OPE SLTPS programs, communications and stakeholder relationships along with government entities.

Focal point for the reporting of the program and project-specific information to both internal and external customers.Works with senior management and very senior level nominees to process them for access to National Security Information.

Leverage relationships and act as the Liaison to the Chief Security office, Personnel Security Division (PSD) and government entities.

Review and verify nominations are signed, approved and in accordance with E.O. 13549, the Department of Homeland Security, Classified National Security Information Program for SLTPS Implementing Directive and E.O. 13691, Sec. 4(c), and 32 CFR part 117, Sec. 117.22 of the National Industrial Security Program Operating Manual (NISPOM).OPE and DHS policy.

Builds and maintains relationships with stakeholders groups and continued participation in OPE programs. Manages and implement projects designed to improve customer engagement.Responds to questions and issues raised from entities external to OPE, both orally and in writingIdentifies and evaluates programmatic issues that may require mitigation and planning and develop proposals and recommendations to address them.

Analyzes, establishes polices and procedures for the SLTPS activities.Develops technical and policy documentation, trainings and reports and various types of correspondence regarding SLTPS.Drafts briefing memos, talking points, and other materials to support SLTPS.

Identifies a opportunities to improve the accountability and efficiency of OPE business areas including advocating a culture of integration and risk management that will strengthen interdependencies and mitigate program weaknesses. Coordinate, manage, process and provide customer service for the PSO, IGA, SI, NGO, and secretaries offices.Create and manage standardized process.

Identifies areas for performance measurement and quality improvement and leads the development and administration of quality assurance activities in accordance with policy. Track update and monitor status of information via the OPE SharePoint site.
