We're hiring a Terminal Operator.

This positionwill be a critical part of theTerminal Operations team reporting to the Terminal Manager. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining safety in the workplace and all regulatory standards. The Terminal Operator is expected to perform safely all duties related to the receipt, storage, distribution, and quality of petroleum products.For over 90 years Global Partners LP has been delivering the energy our communities need to grow, move, and thrive. Facilitate the safe movement, receipt, and shipment of product between pipelines, rail cars, tanker trucks, marine and storage tanks by strictly following policies and procedures and ensuring proper system lineupEnsure that product transactions are properly measured, accurately documented, and conducted in accordance with established policies and proceduresProper tank gauging by physically climbing the tanks and reading a gauge tapeUse basic analytical test equipment and follow procedures for performing and documenting product quality assurance testingAssist in the maintenance and repair of metering devices, pumps, valves, and related equipment, and perform meter calibrationEquipment investigation, repair/or replacement of parts.Perform and document transport truck and routine terminal inspectionsStock balancing and reportingInteract with government agenciesManage drivers for safe loading and unloading in facilityMinor Terminal hardware & maintenance purchasing in accordance with company proceduresPerform terminal housekeeping and light labor duties including litter clearing including terminal inspectionsEnsure safe handling of fuels while receiving product via pipelinePromote and enforce health, safety, security, and environmental activities - intervene when necessaryMeasurement assuranceProper tank gaugingMarine PICDaily environmental inspections (LDAR)Identify, investigate, & escalate issues with close attention to detailAnalyze and comprehend reportsInteract with government agenciesPerform calibrations on various equipmentVapor systems investigation, repair and routine maintenanceLoading rack fire system inspection and maintenanceRead and understand piping and instrumentation diagrams P & IDsParticipate in security protocols at the facility as required and report incidents to appropriate partiesInvestigation of facility malfunctions observed or reported including lighting and fencingControlling traffic and entrance gatesInspecting visitor's vehicles and badgesOther tasks identified and needed for safe, environmentally sound, and reliable operations" Fuel" forYouCoins!
