is looking to hire a full time Plumbing Technician to support our properties across our Dallas, TX Portfolio.As a Plumbing Technician , you will be responsible for supporting 10 Multi-family properties across 2 regions. This position reports to the Maintenance Supervisor.Responsibilities:Troubleshoot, Install repair and maintain plumbing systems in multi-family residential environmentsExperience performing repair with copper, steel, cast iron, PVC, CPVC, PEX and other piping.Ability to detect source of leaks within confines of building, underground, working internally and on exterior of building to find source of error.Perform drain cleaning on plumbing systemsPerform Sewage backup troubleshooting and repairsWork with blueprints and job specifications as it applies to the craftIdentity proper materials and quantities for new and existing projectsReviews blueprints, building codes, or specifications to determine work details or procedures.Keeps records of work assignments.Repairs, removes and / or replaces system components.Installs green plumbing equipment, such as faucet flow restrictors, dual-flush or pressure-assisted flush toilets, or tankless hot water heaters.Welds small pipes or special piping, using specialized techniques, equipment, or materials, such as computer-assisted welding or microchip fabrication.Performs other business-related duties, as required.Requirements:1 + years of experience in multifamily maintenance or equivalent fieldHVAC and EPA certifiedHigh School Diploma or Equivalent requiredCustomer service experienceMust have a valid driver’s licenseBilingual is a plus, but not requiredMust be flexible and dependableMust be a team playerTravel is expected for this position.Must have a valid updated driver's licenseMust be able to driveMust also be able to be insurableAbility to support facilities in Jacksonville and Orlando, Florida – Traveling between regions 40% to 100% of the time.Physical Requirements / Working Conditions:Prolonged periods sitting, standing, and walking throughout the workdayPush, pull, bend, stoop, squat, kneel, climb stairs, and reach above shouldersMust be able to lift and / or move up to 50 poundsMust be able to work indoors / outdoors or in extreme weather conditionsMust be able to work weekends and/or evenings on a rotating scheduleRequirements2+ years of previous experience in plumbing upkeep, electrical, and other relevant apartment maintenanceWorking knowledge of building maintenanceAbility to communicate orally and written in a clear fashionSkilled in operation maintenance tools in a safe mannerAbility to handle physical workload up to 50lbsAbility to work every other weekend as neededDeadline and detail-orientedValid Driver’s LicenseSpanish proficiency preferred but not requiredBenefitsSalary range will depend on experience with PTO, Medical, Dental, Vision, & Basic Life Insurance.Position is eligible for travel reimbursement policy.Discounts for living onsite within our community are offered
