The purpose of the Shipping Associate is to manage the daily operations of e-commerce orders at the store location. Primary responsibilities encompass retrieving customer orders and efficiently packing and shipping them within specified timeframes.Deliver unwavering and consistent quality customer service, aiming to ensure each customer enjoys a successful and satisfying shopping experience.Offer a friendly and welcoming greeting to any customer within a ten-foot radius of your position.Develop a comprehensive understanding of all products and remain informed about the latest special offers.Proficiently navigate and utilize the HCL operating system to access and confirm the status of active customer orders.Carefully select all products based on the customer's order list, ensuring accuracy and satisfaction.Skillfully package, label, and prepare orders for shipment using external carriers, maintaining the integrity of each item.Assist with receiving activities during periods of low order activity.Demonstrate a solid understanding of safety protocols and employ best practices when handling materials.Use general office equipment such as telephone, copy machine, fax machine, calculator, computer.Operate company handhelds, forklift, pallet jack, ladder, and other retail equipment.Participate in cross-training for flexibility in various departments and responsibilities.Actively participate in learning initiatives offered such as training programs, workshops, and webinars. Leverage these opportunities to acquire new knowledge, refine existing skills, and stay current on the latest developments.Provide friendly, proactive, and professional internal and external support to others, assisting with inquiries, concerns, and issues promptly and effectively.Demonstrate behaviors that exemplify Rural Kings Values: People First, Integrity, Attitude, Initiative, Teamwork, Accountability, and Continuous Improvement.Perform other duties as assigned.Supervisory Responsibilities

Qualifications:Essential Qualities for Success

Ability to interact with the team in a fast-paced environment, remaining flexible, proactive, resourceful, and efficient.Experience in managing multiple tasks and maintain a proactive and results-driven approach.Ability to prioritize activities based on urgency and importance, adapting schedules, and plans as necessary.Proven track record of consistently producing error-free work and meeting quality standards.Ability to work independently without supervision.Ability to access and use the in-store computer, scanning system, and wireless handheld unit.

Physical Requirements

Ability to maintain a seated or standing position for extended durations.Ability to lift, push, and/or pull a minimum of 30 pounds repetitively and 31-50 pounds intermittently .Able to navigate and access all facilities.Skill to effectively communicate verbally with others, both in-person and via electronic devices.Close vision for computer-related activities.Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform essential job functions.
