Program Overview

The Comcast internship/co-op program will help you cultivate meaningful relationships, develop strong interpersonal and business skills, gain exposure to the day-to-day operations of a Fortune 40 media and technology company, and receive mentorship opportunities to expand your professional network.

This program immerses students into the daily operation of a contemporary media and technology company while working side-by-side with Comcast's top innovators. The student becomes an integral part of the Comcast team working on creative, innovative, and thought-provoking projects within various business units.

Organization & Team Overview

Xfinity Growth, Innovation, and Experience drives business growth and customer engagement with emphasis on how Xfinity takes its products and services to market - and delivering a reliable, end-to-end experience to our customers, no matter which market or region they live in. XGIE teams are responsible for Xfinity brand and product strategy, including its video, broadband, voice, home, and mobile products, as well as consumer sales and marketing, digital platforms, and data intelligence.

Role Description

Responsible for assisting Customer Lifecycle Communications management with Reliability related communications and strategies to effectively promote the reliability Xfinity products and services. Coordinates with appropriate stakeholders to develop digital assets, and routing for review and approval. Supports ad hoc campaigns as needed. Executes project deliverables within agreed upon timelines and budgets, sharing status updates with stakeholders along the way.

What are some interesting problems the student will work on?

In your role, you will work with digital platform partners to craft and deploy messaging to customers that amplify our product and service reliability message. Specific campaigns include but are not limited to unplanned customer outages, network enhancements, and equipment exchanges.

Where can this student make an impact?

You'll be working closely with leaders across the marketing and service communications teams to gain experience crafting and orchestrating customer-facing communications. Success in this role is characterized by making a measurable impact on customer retention and satisfaction.

Crafting customer-facing messaging for equipment swap and outage-related communicationsWorking with your leader to identify test and learn and customer research opportunitiesGain insights into the effectiveness of our programs via reporting and measurement of communicationsOther duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications and Eligibility Requirements

Currently pursuing a bachelor's degree from a United States-based college or universityRising Junior or Rising Senior only (must have a graduation date between Winter 2025- Spring 2027)Returning to degree-program (for at least a semester) after the completion of the summer internship (meaning, student must be returning to school for Fall 2025 semester before graduating)Available to work 40 hours per week over the course of the summer program- June 2 through August 15, 2025Authorized to work in the United States with no current or future sponsorship needsAvailable to report in-person to the work location on the job posting (unless virtual offering)Comcast is an Affirmative Action/EEO employer M/F/D/V

CompensationBase Pay: $23.00

Base pay is one part of the Total Rewards that Comcast provides to compensate and recognize employees for their work.
