Job Description

The Project Developer (MISO & PJM) will be responsible for the following

Lead and coordinate the development of renewable energy projects from early to late stages, focusing on wind, solar, and storage initiatives.Establish and maintain relationships with stakeholdersDrive community engagement effortsMonitor transmission studies and adapt development strategies based on updates.Collaborate on permitting with regulatory bodies to ensure timely project approvals.Support negotiations for Requests for Proposals (RFPs) to maximize project opportunities.Coordinate with departments to ensure project activities are accurate and timely.Perform additional duties as assignedMPI does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, national origin, age, disability, veteran status, marital status, or based on an individual's status in any group or class protected by applicable federal, state or local law. The Successful Applicant

The Project Developer (MISO & PJM) will have the below skills and experience

2-4 years of experience in renewable energy project developmentA bachelors degree in a relevant fieldProficient in leading multifaceted projects from inception to completion in project managementEffective stakeholder relationship-building through strong interpersonal and communication skillsComprehensive knowledge of regulatory requirements and permitting processes in renewable energyStrategic recommendations derived from excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities with project dataExpertise in contract negotiation, vendor management, and budget oversight in project developmentAbility to excel independently and collaboratively in a dynamic, fast-paced environmentPreparedness for occasional travel to conduct site visits, attend meetings, and engage with communities

What's on Offer

The Project Developer (MISO & PJM) will be eligible for

Base salary of $110,000 - $130,000 with an annual bonus of 20%Comprehensive benefits packageAbility to work in a hybrid capacity in the Houston office
