About the role
The
CDL Class A driver
will perform duties associated with transporting hazardous and non-hazardous waste between Reworld facilities and the client's sites. Drives will have the opportunity to operate a variety of equipment including tankers, tractor trailer, roll-off, vacuum trucks, vans, and flat-beds.
Responsibilities
Operate equipment in a safe manner following DOT regulations and company policies and regulations.Drive commercial vehicles to pick up and transport waste to a designated location safely while meeting scheduled appointments and following all DOT regulations.Ensure placarding of the vehicle meets DOT regulations.Maintain paperwork including expense reports, timesheets, vehicle inspection reports, manifests, and job sheets.Inspect truck equipment and supplies such as tires, lights, brakes, gas, oil, and water.Perform other duties as assigned.Requirements
High School Diploma / GED preferred.Must be 21 years or older, due to interstate travel in a commercial vehicle and federal regulations.Minimum 1 years of commercial driving experience.Tanker CDL Driver preferredCDL Class A with Tanker endorsements requiredHazMat endorsement is preferred but not required.Clean driving record.Ability to use a tablet for E-Logs.Physical Demands of the Role:
Ability to walk, stand, sit, and climbAbility to lift/carry 50lbsAbility to work from heights and in confined spacesQualify to wear a full-face respiratorConsistently work in various weather conditionsShift:
