Risepoint brings single-minded dedication to student success, an integrated set of services, and data-driven performance to our collaboration with university partners.A Day in the Life:The essential functions of this role are as follows:Exhibits leadership and helps build high-performing teamsFacilitates daily scrum meetings/ceremonies and monitors progress against sprint commitmentsActively participates in sprint planning and gains commitmentfrom the team based on team capacityCoordinates with members within the team and across teams during grooming sessionsCoaches team members and ensures understanding and adherence to processes, with qualityCollaborates, communicates dependencies, and builds relationships with other Scrum Masters and Product OwnersEnsures that releases are being deployed on schedule and tracked according to established proceduresFacilitates the removal of impediments, addresses issues/blockages, and helps minimize disruptions for team membersSeeks regular input from team members, and implements changes to improve efficiency and increase productivityReports the progress and highlights any risks/issues to leadershipFacilitates large, cross-functional group meetings and planning sessions.Administration and training for our Agile ToolProvides mentorship to junior members of the team and other Scrum Masters, along with advocating for Agile best practicesWhat You'll Need for Success:You must meet the following requirements to be considered for employment:Bachelor's degree in Business, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent experienceAt least 5 years of Scrum Master experienceExperience working with SAFe (Scaled Agile Framework) is preferredExperience with Digital.ai Agility tool or similar tool is preferredPrior experience supporting business applications is preferredSCRUM training/certification preferredExperience managing team members in different time zonesPrior technology background within the areas of development, testing, or other SDLC experienceExperience working in a higher education environment is preferred.Detail-oriented with respect to documentation and communication; able to express complex concepts effectively, both verbally and in writing toStrong relationship-building skills; comfortable interacting with stakeholders at all levels throughout the business.Good listening skills, with the ability to uncover underlying needs.Must have a desire to achieve excellent project outcomes and exceed stakeholder expectations.Works independently with limited supervision, coordinating assigned tasks to closure.Must have experience working with cross-functional teams.Understanding of software development life cycle methodologies.
