Associate Manager, Brand Portfolio & Equity , with a focus on Portfolio Maintenance, Renovation Projects and Media to Cart Execution, will be responsible for developing and executing strategies that align with the identified audience and brand heart. This role involves collaborating with innovation teams, tracking velocities, updating assortments, and delivering a competitive portfolio. Additionally, you will develop relevant marketing assets and own Ziploc’s organic social strategy.KEY RESPONSIBILITIESPortfolio Strategy and Claims Development:Scope, lead and deliver commercialization for key core bags product improvements and renovations from concept to launch, rooted in brand strategy, inspired by compelling consumer insights and positioned to win with relevant audiences.Work with the innovation team to identify and integrate brand-relevant innovations to fuel brand growth and category stewardship.Partner with brand managers to develop and implement comprehensive segment claim strategy, including a short to long-term roadmap of milestones.Lead execution of holistic core bags brand design and identity, including visual brand language.Market Optimization:Take charge of the business by analyzing syndicated data (Nielsen), internal shipment data, market research and other sources to both monitor performance and make actionable business recommendations.Help execute a winning portfolio strategy, by developing and leading sell-in decks for core bags renovations and assist manager on media-to-cart launch strategy.Ziploc Media To Cart & Marketing Innovation:Lead licensing and key brand partnerships in FY25; creating assets that harness the power of both brands to drive connection and integrate into key cultural moments.Co-author and execute new core bags and mega-brand campaigns, rooted in consumer insights tied to brand strategy, and brought to life with best-in-class agency partnership.Craft Ziploc Core Bag’s brand narrative through organic social strategy, finding new ways to engage with consumers and user-generated content and engage with key audiences.Partner with Brand Managers to build out media-to-cart strategies to drive online and offline conversions, ensuring seamless consumer journeys from awareness to purchase.REQUIRED EXPERIENCE YOU’LL BRINGBachelor’s degree and 5+ years of Marketing experience OR an advanced degree and 3+ years of Marketing experience required.Qualified candidates must be legally authorized to work in the United States.PREFERRED EXPERIENCES AND SKILLSStrong interest in CPG industry.Working on cross-functional teams.Ability to build strong working relationships.Passion for innovation and sustainability.Prior experience in the CPG industry.High sense of urgency.Proven project leadership capability and propensity to grow within brand management and other commercial roles (including sales, customer marketing, and shopper marketing roles).Demonstrate honesty, courage and transparency in words and actions.Promote collaboration by valuing others and building trust-based relationships.Remove barriers by focusing on priorities, making timely decisions, and maximizing empowerment.Acknowledge tradeoffs, take appropriate risks and own all outcomes good or bad.Passionately deliver winning results individually and through others.Approach situations and processes with curiosity and open-mindedness while applying new learnings.JOB REQUIREMENTSFull-time onsite role in West Loop, Chicago office.Remote work is available once per week for eligible employees.This role is eligible for domestic relocation.BENEFITS AND PERKSSC Johnson’s total compensation packages are at or above industry levels.
