Our Corporate Marketing team strives to understand the needs of the customers and communities we serve and design the most effective programs to profitably meet those needs. This team accelerates sales activity by attracting, engaging and converting leaders and their teams through the delivery of compelling Gartner insight and experiences throughout the buyer journey.

We’re looking for a Content Marketing Manager to be a part of our Experiential Marketing team. This team is responsible for the strategy, content planning and development, logistics and event management of virtual and in-person sessions for Gartner prospects. These programs have become pivotal to helping our sales organization generate leads, progress sales pipeline and close opportunities. Our sessions target prospects across the marketing funnel with the goal of converting those prospects to clients.

The ideal candidate is process and detail-oriented, who has proven project management skills and is highly collaborative, proactive, innovative, can work in a fast-paced environment independently and has a passion for analyzing performance data. This person should be experienced with executing a content strategy, planning, and developing event experiences and proficient in writing and editing. This role will be responsible for supporting the content planning of our highest visibility virtual and in-person sessions and will report to the Content Director.

What you’ll do:

Host live virtual sessions and moderate discussions and interviews among guest speakers, including Research & Advisory, Executive Partners and Client speakers.

Support planning for the creation and development of content for assigned virtual and in-person sessions across all programs in region.

Independently lead content planning calls for assigned role, practice or region, with internal and external speakers.

Identify and use best practices, internal data, and research insights to help inform content selection, creation, and recommendations.

Research and plan panel discussion and interview questions using provided templates and best practices.

Update content planning presentations and manage preparatory meetings and trainings for our programs.

Update Webinar and Invitational Program trackers with session specific details and data.

Prepare, support and update our project communications with our sales hosts and stakeholders.

Collaborate with Experiential Marketing team to find areas of optimization and innovation within program operations and/or promotional channels.

Edit scripts and abstracts to align with virtual and in-person event details and promotions.

Support ad-hoc projects and strategic planning to improve processes and maximize efficiencies.

Create on-demand only assets leveraging related existing webinars to drive leads.

Support pilot of creating Generative AI virtual content.

What you’ll need:

Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business, or related field preferred.

Experience in creating content for in-person and virtual marketing events.

4+ years of marketing, content development, operations and/or related experience.

Journalism or strong writing background is a plus.

Proficient in project and/or event management.

Experienced user of Google Sheets, Google Slides and Google Drive.

Effective oral and written communication skills.

High level of accuracy and proven attention to detail with excellent organizational skills.
