Job Summary

Grande Cheese Company in Fond du Lac, WI is seeking a driven and strategically focused candidate for our available Director of Supply Chain Services. In this role you will be responsible for overseeing and managing all aspects of global supply planning, domestic transportation, logistics, supply chain systems, as well as our distribution and fulfillment operations. This includes deep statistical analytics to enable proactive product availability planning, managing the distribution network, ensuring timely and accurate delivery of our products to domestic customers, and optimizing the fulfillment process to meet customer demands. The Director of Supply Chain Services drives the team to set best-in-class goals and provides resources to allow execution. You will ensure customer service, distribution, and order fulfillment is and continues to be a source of differentiation and competitive advantage for the Enterprise. Additionally, drive best-in-class global supply and production planning for a highly age sensitive product while also driving root cause analysis for any missed shipments and reviews with Sr. Management, including CEO. In this role you will be responsible to ensure systemic solutions are implemented to ensure industry leading fulfillment rates are maintained.

To be successful in this role you will need to build strong, collaborative relationships across all functions – especially sales and operations. This requires strong leadership presence and experience and being comfortable reviewing results with CEO and Board of Directors. Candidates must have a deep understanding of Continuous Improvement tools (Lean/6 sigma, TPM, etc) supply planning, transportation, warehousing, distribution, and inventory management in the perishable food industry. Proven experience in leading teams, business analytics and demonstrated collaborative successes is a requirement. A strong focus on continuous improvement while demonstrating a competitive winning spirit is essential. What you need to be considered for the role:

Bachelors Degree in Supply Chain Management or other related field required.

Minimum of ten (10) years of experience in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Distribution & Warehousing, Customer Service/Fulfillment required. At least 5 years experience as manager of others.

Experience with structured Continuous Improvement tools like Lean, 6 Sigma, TPM or similar.

Experience with high performing teams, leading through MDI tools or similar.

Demonstrated experience in developing others and empowering team members.

Experience with Integrated ERP systems and proven results in leveraging digital tools to drive improved results.

Proven thought leadership and collaborative skills as critical hub for cross-functional interaction.

Experience and/or training with continuous improvement programs and methodology.

Hands-on ability to make connections of what happens with transactions and dynamics of roles and responsibilities.

Advanced knowledge and application of Technology/Systems.

Experience managing within an integrated ERP system and able to articulate information needed to support strong business decisions.

Preferred:

MBA with an emphasis in Procurement or Supply Chain preferred.

Experience within the perishable food manufacturing industry is preferred.

Experience with Global supply chains is preferred.

ISM Certifications (CPSM or CPM) highly desired.

APICS certification preferred.

EducationRequired:

Bachelors Degree or better in Supply Chain & Ops Mgmt.

Preferred:

Masters Degree or better in Supervisory Management.

Licenses & CertificationsPreferred:
