Job Description

BryceTech is looking for an Acquisition Specialist to support our US Space Force, Space Systems Command (SSC) Customer.Provide space acquisitions, engineering, operations, and technical advice and assistance for all projects and programs, as required, to support any stage of the acquisition life cycle. Support program acquisition efforts for advanced technology, future concept development, and integration activities. Advise and assist the Government on cost, schedule, and performance matters.Revise or provide draft JCIDS and acquisition documentation to the applicable Government program manager and support the presentation of products to internal and external customers. Documentation shall include but is not limited to, Initial Capability Documents, Interface Control Documents, Capability Development/Production/Requirements Documents, Milestone documentation, Acquisition Strategies, Analysis of Alternatives, Concept of Operations, Memorandums of Agreement/Understanding, Technical/Systems Requirement Documents, Defense Acquisition Board documentation, Technical Evaluations, System Specifications, enabling concepts, training material, briefings, white papers, reports, and analysis results). Work shall be developed using the latest applicable Government guidance (e.g., MIL-STD).Provide a draft SME-level technical and/or programmatic status report of any individual program or of the portfolio, in coordination with the Government program manager, upon request by the Government.Identify areas of improvement, including acquisition process improvements. Provide actionable, feasible recommendations and execute tasks for reducing risk where appropriate. These recommendations may include technical, organizational, or programmatic changes where appropriate. Assist in building and maintaining a Government risk program, including risk identification, process definition, and detailed technical risk mitigation plans, as required by the Government.Support the Government program manager on commitments, obligations, and expenditures of funds and perform earned value management and schedule analysis in support of program office defense contracts. Understand how classified funding is distributed and shall provide PPBE support, to include congressional reporting, fiscal year planning, continuing resolution management, unfunded requirement development and submittal, end-of-year funding actions, and Program Objective Memorandum (POM) development. Provide subject matter expertise in support of Integrated Baseline Reviews/Business Financial Reviews to provide insight into program defense contractor cost and schedule performance issues utilizing Government accepted best practices and guidelines.Assist the Government with reviewing and analyzing packages delivered in support of DoD programs. These items include, but are not limited to

Program Contractor Status Reports, Contract Performance Reports, Integrated Master Schedules, Integrated Program Management Reports, Contract Funds Status Reports, Work Breakdown Structures, and other applicable technical data packages for compliance with Program Contractor contractual requirements to include but not limited to Data Item Descriptions and the CDRL's.Analyze, reconcile, identify discrepancies, recommend corrective action, track findings, and advise the government on resolution.Participate in DCMA surveillance reviews and provide evaluations of surveillance reports and assessments performed by the Agency on Program Contractors' earned value management and/or alternate management system, processes and procedures, and performance.Perform IMS reconciliation to ensure activities are traceable to IMP events.

Maintain awareness of current program schedule, monitor acquisition implementation, report requirement shortfalls, and provide a program assessment based on the identified risks. Combine and correlate program execution data with the program baselines to accurately maintain and update acquisition reports.Qualifications

Master's Degree or MBA

required20+ Years relative experience. SME Recognized Industry Leader15 Years experience handling cost estimation for classified government programs.Security Clearance:

An active TS Security Clearance and be eligible for SCIDemonstrates ability to manage all aspects of program financial management for an ACAT-like weapon system program, including but not limited to fiscal year planning, continuing resolution management, unfunded requirement development and submittal, spring execution reviews, end-of-year funding actions, and program objective memorandum (POM) development, and Earned Value Management.Highly knowledgeable in the DoD Planning, Programming, Budgeting, and Execution process.Experience utilizing the MS Office Suite of Tools
