Assist patients with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.Provide mobility assistance, including transferring patients from beds to wheelchairs or stretchers.Monitor and report any changes in patients' physical or emotional condition to the nursing staff.Support patients with meal preparation and feeding, ensuring that dietary needs are met.Maintain a clean and safe environment for patients, including light housekeeping duties.Take and record vital signs, such as blood pressure, temperature, and pulse.Provide companionship and emotional support to patients, fostering a positive and comforting atmosphere.Assist nurses and other healthcare professionals in providing direct patient care as needed.Candidate requirements
Active Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification in the state of New Hampshire.High school diploma or GED equivalent.Previous experience in a healthcare setting is preferred but not required.Strong communication and interpersonal skills.Ability to work effectively as part of a team and independently.Compassionate and patient-focused, with a genuine desire to help others.Physical ability to perform duties such as lifting, moving, and assisting patients.
