The Role:
AXS is seeking an Accountant to join our team in Los Angeles. The ideal candidate will be responsible for assisting with the month end close process, updating accounts receivable and assisting with accounts payable as necessary.
What Will You Do?
Participate in the month-end close, including general ledger reconciliations and posting of monthly journal entriesResponsible for accounts receivable process, which includes maintenance of customer accounts, monthly invoicing and daily cash receiptsAssist with A/P process. Work with accounts payable to ensure invoices are accurate and paid in a timely mannerManage priorities and issues where conflicts ariseAd-hoc clerical requestsWhat Will You Bring?
High School Diploma or its equivalency (BA/BS Degree Preferred) Accounting or related field0-2 years Accounting or related fieldAdvanced knowledge of Excel required, preferably experience with pivot tablesStrong analytical and problem-solving skills; attention to detailAbility to work independently in a fast paced environmentExcellent organizational and communication skills required, interacting well across difference function levels and personality typesStrong understanding of accounting theory/GAAPStrong verbal and written communication skillsInterpersonal and teamwork skillsPay Scale: $23.17 - $33.59
