Donor Database Coordinator

at A New Leaf's Philanthropy Administration is responsible for managing and maintaining the organization's donor database, ensuring the accurate entry of donations, and collaborating with the Finance team for reconciliation. This role oversees gift processing, supports event data management, including the annual Gala, and ensures data quality for strategic fundraising efforts. Additionally, the coordinator assists with grant support, community engagement, and the development of standard operating procedures, contributing to the overall success of A New Leaf's philanthropic initiatives.

Hourly Pay Rate:

$22

Location:

Mesa, AZ (on-site only)

Part-Time Schedule:

Monday - Friday between 8am - 5pm about 20 - 25 hours; 4-5 hours a day and 4-5 days a week (flexible)

*Required to complete our "New Hire Orientation" held on the first work week of employment, Monday-Friday, 8am-5pm; subject to change upon completion of orientation requirements which may grant early release of orientation before Friday; orientation not offered evenings or weekends.

QUALIFICATIONS

Education:

High school diploma or GED required; some higher education preferred.Experience:

Data entry and mail merge experience required.Previous experience with Raiser's Edge database or similar CRM systemExperience in nonprofit philanthropy, preferredAccounting background a plus.Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite/365 Cloud Suite, required.DUTIES AND RESPONSIBLITIES.

Responsibilities will include but not limited to:

Donor Data Management:

Maintain and manage the donor database, ensuring accurate entry of donations, including monetary gifts, in-kind donations, and pledges. Create and update constituent profiles as needed.

Gift Processing and Acknowledgement:

Oversee the daily processing of donations, ensuring timely and error-free gift acknowledgment letters. Manage all donor communication records and ensure that gifts are properly recorded for future correspondence.

Collaboration with Finance and Stakeholders:

Work with the Finance team to reconcile donations and ensure alignment of records. Participate in cross-departmental meetings to maintain consistency and accuracy of donor data.

Support for Philanthropic Events:

Provide data management support for A New Leaf's fundraising events, including the annual Gala. Ensure event-related donations and participation are recorded accurately.

Development of Procedures:

Assist in developing and updating standard operating procedures for managing donor data and processing gifts. Ensure compliance with organizational policies and best practices.

Grant Support and Community Engagement:

Contribute to grant reporting and provide support for community outreach initiatives as part of A New Leaf's broader philanthropic strategy.
