Job Description Job Posting: Programmer Analyst (Data Platform Development) Position Overview: We are looking for a Programmer Analyst responsible for designing and maintaining data platforms and systems. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of business applications and technical solutions, and will be responsible for providing technical guidance, managing project scope, and collaborating with stakeholders to enhance data capabilities and automate processes. Responsibilities: Design and maintain data platforms and systems. Provide technical guidance and mentorship to a team of software developers. Orchestrate data integration solutions to improve business operations. Manage project scope from inception to close, including risk and issue management. Collaborate with architects and stakeholders, including the Chief Data Officer, to develop system specifications and enhance data capabilities. Lead development projects in a Scrum Agile setting, ensuring adherence to software development methodologies. Recommend solutions considering costs, business needs, and system impacts. Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience). 8 years of work experience for Programmer Analyst Strong experience in data integration, cloud platforms, and DevSecOps methods. Proficiency in programming languages such as SQL, Python, Java, JavaScript, and AWS services. Experience with REST or GraphQL APIs, data modeling, and cloud-based databases. Certifications in AWS and Snowflake are preferred. Excellent communication, negotiation, and critical thinking skills. Preferred Qualifications: Experience in building and maintaining data platforms. Familiarity with Scrum methodologies and tools like Jira and Confluence. Strong problem-solving skills and ability to resolve complex issues. Ability to stay updated with industry trends and technological developments.
