At a Glance:

Helmerich & Payne is hiring an Oracle EPM Specialist. This is an important role for H&P to support and manage the EPM Suite of tools and partner with the managed service provider team to provide increased support and coverage during financial closing periods. This role is also going to provide architecture support as we move to Oracle Fusion. The position requires deep technical and functional expertise in Oracle FCCS, PBCS, EDMCS, Reporting, and Integrations. This position will collaborate with Global Accounting, Finance operations, AMS (Application Maintenance Services) partner, and other teams within IT for production support, delivering new enhancements and projects in Oracle EPM.

What you will do:

Implementation and Configuration:

Lead the implementation of Oracle EPM applications (e.g., Hyperion, Planning and Budgeting Cloud Service - PBCS, Financial Consolidation and Close Cloud Service - FCCS).Configure and customize Oracle EPM solutions to meet the organization's specific requirements.System Maintenance and Support:

Provide ongoing support and maintenance for Oracle EPM applications.Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to EPM systems.Data Management:

Ensure the accuracy and integrity of financial data within the EPM system.Develop and manage data integration processes to import and export data between Oracle EPM and other systems.Financial Planning and Analysis:

Assist in the development of financial models, budgets, and forecasts using Oracle EPM tools.Support financial analysis and reporting activities to provide insights into business performance.Training and Documentation:

Train end-users and stakeholders on the effective use of Oracle EPM applications.Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for system configurations, processes, and user guides.Project Management:

Manage EPM-related projects, including timelines, resources, and deliverables.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful project execution.Compliance and Best Practices:

Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies related to financial reporting.Stay updated on industry best practices and Oracle EPM product updates.What you need:

Education and Experience:

Bachelor's degree in finance, Accounting, Information Systems, or a related field.5 to 7 years of experience working with Oracle EPM solutions in a similar role.Technical Skills:

Proficiency in Oracle EPM applications such as Hyperion, PBCS, FCCS, EDMCS, ARCS.Strong understanding of financial processes, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.Experience with data integration tools and techniques (e.g., ETL, data mapping).Knowledge of SQL, scripting languages, and data analysis tools.Analytical Skills:

Ability to develop and interpret complex financial models and reports.Strong problem-solving skills to identify and resolve system issues.Project Management Skills:

Experience managing EPM implementation projects, including planning, execution, and delivery.Ability to coordinate with multiple stakeholders and manage project timelines effectively.Communication Skills:

Excellent verbal and written communication skills to interact with technical and non-technical stakeholders.Ability to explain technical concepts to end-users and provide training.Interpersonal Skills:

Strong team player with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.Customer-focused mindset to understand and address the needs of end-users.Additional Competencies:

Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work.Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.Adaptability to changing business needs and evolving technology.Not a must, but a plus

Relevant certifications (e.g., Oracle Certified Professional) are a plus.
