How you will contribute:
Performing detailed audit procedures over various income statement and balance sheet accountsProactively interacting with key client management to demonstrate your ability to recognize problems and propose sensible solutionsUsing technology tools proficiently in regular assignments and demonstrating a commitment to improving work processes by using technologyMaintaining the appropriate balance between client needs and Forvis Mazars' riskManaging assigned workload between yourself and Forvis Mazars employeesMeeting assigned deadlines or budgets and providing advanced notification of any variancesTraveling to serve clients as necessaryCompleting required Continued Professional EducationWe are looking for people who have Forward Vision and:
An ability to prioritize and work independently in a fast-paced environment to reach clear-set goalsCommunication skills to effectively relate to people of diverse backgrounds and experience levels, both verbally and in writingKnowledge of current audit and accounting conceptsAbility to maintain professional client relationshipsProficiency in Microsoft Office SuiteA desire to provide mentorship and training to other professionalsMinimum Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in accounting or a related fieldAt least 2 years of relevant audit experienceCPA license or have secured the educational requirements to satisfy the 150-credit hour requirement necessary to obtain a CPA license.
