Summary of Overall Job:

Product marketing at e.Republic focuses on analyzing our target markets, then bringing our products and solutions to market, promoting each one to the right target customers and personas , and helping sales communicate the value to customers. Product marketing bridges the gap between our products and solutions and our target customer, aiming to drive awareness, demand and usage of the product. It starts with market research to understand potential customers, documenting a clear go to market plan, followed by crafting the messaging that aligns with target customer needs and preferences and delivering qualified leads to sales teams. In essence, product marketing focuses on the “what,” “why”, “how”, “who” and “when” of a product and/or solution to ensure that it meets the market’s needs, stands out among competitors and delivers on agreed value propositions.

We are looking for a Product Marketing Manager to lead our outbound product marketing activities. The Product Marketing Manager at e.Republic spearheads all marketing efforts for their assigned product(s) and/or solution(s). This individual deeply understands their product(s) and/or solution(s) target markets, their Ideal Customer Profile (ICP), the specific personas their product(s) and/or solution(s) and can succinctly explain how their product(s) and/or solution(s) helps solve customer problems, challenges and pain points. Through close collaborations with product owners, marketing content designers and writers, product developers and sales enablement, the Product Marketing Managers is able to shape effective marketing content, value propositions and campaigns that drive top of funnel awareness, education and consideration resulting in high quality markting qualified leads (MQLs) for the sales teams the support.

You’ll be responsible for marketing and communicating the value of our products and solutions in ways that will strengthen our brand, drive qualified leads and boost sales. For this role, you be a creative and quantitative thinker. You should be familiar with various product marketing techniques, like content driven email campaigns, webinars, nurture programs and pricing strategies. Your goal will be to develop and implement the most profitable marketing and communication plans to position and promote our products with the goal to deliver high quality MQLs to the sales teams you support.

Overall Responsibilities:

Market Research:

Deeply understand the target market for the product(s) and/or solution(s) you support by gathering insights about customer needs, preferences, and behaviors.Go to Market:

Create and update go to market plans for each of your product(s) and/or solution(s) supported including target market, ideal customer profiles (ICPs,) personas, value propositions, marketing programs and key metrics/KPIsProduct Positioning and Messaging:

Develop clear and compelling messaging that highlights the product(s) and/or solution(s) you support unique value proposition(s). Develop product/solution marketing strategies (pricing, advertising, product launching) based on agreed positioning and messaging.Content Creation:

Produce marketing materials such as relevant content, brochures, blog posts, and case studies for the product(s) and/or solution(s) you support and craft compelling messages across marketing channels (landing pages, ad campaigns)Sales Enablement:

Partner with the sales enablement team to design, build and deploy (and update) product and/or solution value propositions, product/solution FAB (feature, advantage, benefit) matrix as well as the necessary messaging, tools, resources, and campaigns needed to drive leads, convert lead to pipeline and enable salespeople to sell the product effectively.Product Launches:

Plan and in partnership with sales enablement, execute product and/or solution launch strategies to generate excitement and demand among the target audience. Define product marketing deployment timelines and metrics for success.Lead Generation:

Design, build and launch effective lead and demand generation campaigns focused on delivering to sales and sales enablement quality (i.e. highly scored) marketing qualified leads (MQLs) for the product(s) and/or solution(s) you support that sales can convert to pipeline opportunitiesTeamwork:

Work with various teams (design, content, acquisition, product, sales) to implement strategies. Evaluate projects using relevant KPIs and feedback from existing and prospective customers. Educate other departments on current product messaging.Management:

Oversee and manage Product Marketing Specialist.Skills/Qualifications:

5+ years of overall marketing experience2+ years of marketing managerial experienceBSc/BA in Marketing, Communications or similar fieldBackground in design and copywriting is a plusA proven leader as a Product Marketing Manager or a similar B2B marketing leadership roleSignificant B2B product marketing and product development experience with extensive experience designing and executing customer promotional campaignsDeep understanding of market trends and product lifecycles and a firm grasp of creative ways to develop, launch and measure strategic product marketing campaignsAnalytical mind and strong quantitative skills, including experience in market analysis, strategic planning and project managementFamiliar with current product marketing tactics (e.g. integrated marketing campaigns, omnichannel, digital, social)Working knowledge of web analytics tools (Google Analytics, WebTrends)Experience with CRM and marketing automation tools (Salesforce, Hubspot)Strong written and verbal communication skillsExcellent project management skills with a keen eye for detail and an intuitive understanding of how to effectively assign responsibilities and strong negotiation skillsTeam player with a high degree of empathy for others’ perspectives and circumstancesMust be in a work environment with reliable internet access.
