Job Details Job Location Jacksonville, FL Remote Type Fully Remote Position Type Full Time Description JOB SUMMARY The Salesforce Technical Architect is responsible for overseeing and driving the technical strategy and implementation of Salesforce solutions as well as leading a high-performing team of engineers. Collaborates with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze requirements, design technical solutions, and implement best practices to ensure high-quality software development. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Directs and manages Salesforce engineering team to accomplish business goals. Leads the development and implementation of software solutions using Salesforce and attendant technologies, e.g., Apex, Visualforce and Lightning Web Components. Works closely with the Solution Architect and other technical team members in developing solutions for the Salesforce platform. Conducts code reviews for ongoing projects to ensure adherence to Salesforce best practices and maintainability. Leads development and updates of technical design documents. Works with product operations to complete release deployments and release documentation Writes clean, efficient, and well-documented code that meets our business needs and follows industry best practices. Designs and implements unit tests to ensure high-quality software products. Analyzes and troubleshoots technical issues, providing timely and effective solutions. Contributes to the continuous improvement of our software development practices, tools, and processes. Ensures Salesforce solutions align with security and data compliance standards Stays up to date with emerging trends and technologies in Salesforce software development and identify opportunities for innovation and improvement. Identifies ongoing risks and areas for improvement within our Salesforce implementation. ROLE QUALIFICATIONS EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE REQUIRED Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field. At least eight (8) years of experience developing Salesforce-based solutions. At least four (4) years in a Salesforce technical architect role. At least two (2) years of leading and mentoring Salesforce Development teams. Experience with Release Management, Source Control, and deployment concepts and technologies such as ANT, SFDC Metadata API, Azure DevOps, and Gearset. Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team, guiding and mentoring developers. Solid understanding of and detailed experience with Salesforce.com architecture and APIs. Experience integrating Salesforce with other applications. Experience using and developing Lightning Web Components. Strong understanding of software development principles and best practices. Knowledge in SOQL, relational database management systems, data modeling, and standardization. Effective problem solving and decision-making skills. Excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills. Proven experience with software development methodologies such as Agile or Scrum. Certified Salesforce Platform Developer 1 & 2 certification Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite PREFERRED Experience with Azure MuleSoft Developer certification Demonstrated coding skills in Apex plus one additional high-level programming language such as C#, Java or Python. Must be able to lift up to fifteen (15) pounds. Frequent use of office machines to include telephone, computer, and printer.
