Program Description:

TTM offers paid summer internships to qualified Engineering students who are looking to gain professional experience in a manufacturing environment. Internships are designed to help build your professional credentials by providing meaningful, practical, on-the-job training and experiences, while also igniting your imagination.

Opportunities exist throughout TTM and are available to students who are motivated to learn and grow. You will get a chance to contribute your best ideas and work in an environment that inspires innovative results. Students in our internship program provide tremendous value to our organization through increased productivity, introduction of innovative, fresh ideas and talent, and often become reliable and skilled full-time regular employees.

The TTM Internship Program is geared toward conscientious students engineering juniors who are going into their senior year of college. It is a stimulating and rewarding experience, helping the student make the transition from school to work and career while motivating the student for a potential manufacturing, engineering and technology future. Participating in one of our internships is also invaluable in establishing a network within the company.

Program Outline:

Internship is project based, deliverable within the summer period of 10-12 weeks starting in late May or early June and ending in mid-August or September.Interns are assigned a mentor/champion to help guide and serve as a resourceInterns will present opening, mid-review, and closing presentation to the site and regional leadership teamThe program offers opportunities for professional, career, and leadership developmentSuccessful program completion may lead to an early employment offer upon graduationEligibility:

Must be enrolled in an accredited college or university undergraduate program majoring in Chemical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering. We will also consider Electrical Engineering, Applied Mathematics, Physics, or a related field. Must be a junior going into their senior year of college (returning to senior year/semester of studies in Fall 2025 with an expected graduation Spring 2026). Student must also be in good academic standing.Due to ITAR regulations, applicants must be US Citizen or Permanent ResidentReporting to the Process Engineering Manager, the Intern will:

Utilize technology to improve, streamline and automate various production linesDevelop new chemical or mechanical processesReview and analyze production lines for automation opportunitiesDesign simplified calibration techniques for production line machinesDevelop new analysis techniquesKnowledge, Skills and Abilities of an Ideal Candidate:

Demonstrate understanding of chemistry or material scienceDemonstrate ability to handle unknown variables with independent researchSelf-motivated, good communicator and capable of working independently while handling fluctuating workloads with strong organizational and problem solving skillsProficient in MS Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, Project)Prepared to work in an environment with steep learning curveMust be comfortable working in a manufacturing environment (noise, dust, heat/cold, and hazardous chemical exposure)

Compensation:

Compensation ranges for roles at TTM Technologies varies depending on a wide array of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; certifications; and other business and organizational needs. The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. At TTM Technologies, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on each individual set of circumstances. A reasonable estimate of the current range is:$34,141 - $51,211

Additional compensation: An annual or quarterly company bonus may apply based on position assignment. Positions hired for alternative shift may be eligible for a shift premium based on the assigned shift and location.

Export Statement:Must comply with TTM Export Control Policies and Procedures and all applicable laws including ITAR, EAR and OFAC including but not limited to: a) being able to identify ITAR product on the manufacturing floor and understand that access to these products and related technical data is restricted to only US Citizens and US Permanent Residents; b) recognition of Foreign Person visitors by badge differentiation; c) understand and follow authorization procedures for bringing foreign visitors into facilities (VAL); d) understand the Export and ITAR requirements for shipments leaving the US; e) manage vendor approvals for ITAR manufacturing and services.
