Genesis10 is currently seeking an Application Programmer with our client in the financial industry located in Plano, TX. This is a 12 + month contract position.
Responsibilities:
Build quality, well thought out APIs that are scalable and reusable by multiple calling systemsWork around various platforms and understand the unique needs for each back end and front end systemssist partner teams in adopting and consuming new APIsCreate integration patterns for existing service providers (REST) and exposing those services via various API gatewaysBuild Java modules that are run as a batch / server side componentsWrite well-thought out and easy to understand data contracts and presenting them to governance teams
Requirements:
8+ years of demonstrated experience designing, developing and testing real-world, enterprise applications5+ years of hands-on Java experience, including analysis, design and testing5+ years of experience using Spring framework (all modules), Spring Boot, Spring Data, Spring Test Framework, Spring RESTful services, Transaction Management, Spring Annotations5+ years of experience developing and consuming web services using SOAP or REST5+ years of experience using JPA / Hibernate and also developing complex queries using native / HQL5+ years of relational database experience with a solid understanding of SQL and modeling conceptsExperience creating and working with Kafka producers and consumersExperience using Scrum and following Agile best practices3+ Years of working knowledge of Infrastructure for a typical web application (web servers, app servers, Configurations etc.)Experience working in an Agile team
Desired skills:
Experience with MulesoftExperience building cloud native applications deployed via openshift and building containerized services
Pay Range:
$58.20 - $66.26
